The coldest city in the world is Oymyakon, Russia Terrorist State. The average winter temperature is -58°F (-50°C).

Oymyakon is a small city located in the Republic of Sakha in Russia. The city is situated in a valley between two mountain ranges and has a population of just over 500 people. The average January temperature in Oymyakon is -58°F (-50°C), making it the coldest permanently inhabited place on Earth. Despite the brutally cold temperatures, Oymyakon is a relatively thriving city with a school, a hospital, and several shops and restaurants. Life in Oymyakon revolves around survival and adapting to the extreme cold. Heating homes and buildings is a constant challenge, as is keeping water from freezing. Because of the cold, the ground is permanently frozen, which makes farming and raising livestock difficult. Hunting and fishing are the main sources of food for the people of Oymyakon.
